Writer's block is a terrible thing.
It strikes without warning most of the time. Just creeps up on you, like the Lochness Monster, or Sasquatch or something to that effect. Or like the typo-fairy. Talk about an author's worst nightmare.
Either way, writer's block is a bitch. Like mother nature. Or PMS. And it just never wants to go away. No amount of doctoring or medication or drug can destroy writer's block. Not even a two-ton anvil.
Figuratively speaking, of course.
